HERITAGE POND

Heritage Pond is a 12 acre site adjacent to the eastern trailhead of Heritage Trail at Hwy. 52/3 and Rupp Hollow Road. The pond offers handicap accessible fishing piers, covered picnic tables, and benches to sit and enjoy the scenery and wildlife, along with parking areas. An excellent spot for anglers of all ages in all seasons, the pond is stocked in winter with trout by the IA DNR. Bluegills, crappies, bullheads, and stripers are also caught in this 8 acre pond. Open year round, sunrise to sunset. No motor boats and no swimming.
